MaxxRentals – FAQ
Do you deliver and pick up on Sundays?
Yes, we offer delivery and pickup services every day of the week, including Sundays. Please note that delivery times may vary for locations outside the Greater Toronto Area.
Is it a 24-hour rental?
- Deliveries made after 2 PM the day before your event are included in the one-day rate.
- Same-day delivery and pickup count as one full day.
- A $300 Delivery/Pick-Up Fee (includes both directions) applies to all rentals.
- Pickup can be the same day after your event or the next morning before 12 PM for a one-day rate.
- Requests for pickup or delivery outside of these time windows may incur two-day rental charges.
- Standard delivery times are between 11 AM – 2 PM.
- Pickup typically occurs when your event ends or the following morning when possible.
Can we move the screens ourselves if needed?
- We require a venue map and an event setup form before delivery so our team can place the screens properly.
- If you need to move them during your event, please contact us first for approval.
Insurance coverage is required by both parties.
Can we program the screens ourselves?
- All screens are managed by the MaxxEvents team to ensure smooth performance and correct ad display.
- Designs and media should be submitted at least 48 hours before your event.
- Please complete the mandatory event form provided by our team.
We’ll upload, test, and confirm that your content looks perfect.
Power Requirements
What type of power do the screens need?
All screens operate on standard 110 V / 250 W power — a regular wall plug is sufficient.
Supported Media
Do the screens play video or just images?
- Our screens support both video and static images.
- Recommended design size: 1080 × 1920 px (portrait orientation).
- We’ll manage all uploads through our M2M MaxxSim system.
If you’d like to install a custom app for touch use, please provide the file two days in advance (APK or Google Play link).
Touchscreen Functionality
Can the touchscreen mode be turned off?
No — if you’ve ordered a touchscreen model, that functionality cannot be disabled.
Connectivity & MaxxSim
How do the screens connect to the internet?
- All ads are managed remotely via Wi-Fi or MaxxSim.
- Touchscreen features may incur additional data charges if Wi-Fi is unavailable.
- Data packages are available (1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB per day). Ask us for pricing and carrier availability — coverage may vary by location.
If your event uses Wi-Fi, no extra data charges apply.
